LUMICARDS School Communication Tool (SCT) efficiently delivers teaching and study materials from teachers to students. Teachers can easily create and post in-class announcements, assignments and self-study guides for students, receive assignments turned in online, and they can effectively design and promote online quizzes/tests for quick results and analysis.
LUMICARDS Learning Resource is composed a list of useful websites, recommended books and more. It is not yet fully developed and will continue to have more information. In the future teachers should be able to store useful websites, educational information and video clips in Learning Resource to share with their students and others.
LUMICARDS Lesson Resource is a teaching and lesson sharing platform for teachers and is now in beta-testing phase. It is aligned to the new standards (Common Core State Standards and Next Generation Science Standards) and provides teachers with comprehensive teaching materials, study guides and sample quizzes and tests. We currently do not accept new lesson material but will announce when the platform is ready.
LUMICARDS Member-Link lets parents to receive all notices, assignments and online test scores that their children get from the school and teachers. It even lets parents monitor the status of their children’s study activities and assignment submissions. Member-Link is an optional service for parents.
School Communication Tool (SCT) is the central hub for communications between teachers and students. It enables teachers to send to students any messages, homework assignments, attached documents, flashcards and online tests or quizzes.
There are two ways to make flashcards within School Communication Tool. The preferred is 'Copy & Paste' method. If the information is in a right text format, 'Copy & Paste' method can create any number of flashcards in 10 seconds.
LUMICARDS flashcards can be converted into a quiz or test automatically at a button click. Teachers can send quizzes or tests to students through SCT, and students can take the quizzes/tests in any devices that are automatically graded. Flashcards and automatic quiz/test together can serve powerful tools reinforcing students' daily learning.
The tutorial show how to upload and assign lesson packages to class groups. Lesson packages are organized by subject in each grade level ranging from Kindergarten to 12th grade.
